"Policy and Regulatory Framework for Green IPP Market Development"

The ASEM Green IPP Network held its fourth regional workshop on November 20, 2003 in Singapore. It was held as part of the event "Accessing New Markets and commercializing Sustainable Energy in Asia 2003" that was organized by IIR Exhibitions.  A Conference and Exhibition was held on the 18-19th November 2003.

The fourth workshop  of the ASEM Green IPP Network aimed to foster the market-driven development of environment-friendly or green independent power producers in South East Asia. The network focuses on exchanging experiences of Green IPPs in Europe and in ASEAN. Successful project structures, innovative financing shcemes and supportive policy instruments are highlighted to promote greater market penetration of Green IPPs.
